Default Help im worried

Hey guys yesterday i was driving on the freeway then next thing i kno my car started beeping pretty loud and on my gauges the BRAKE light went on and the ABS light went on and its been beeping since then wtf is wrong with my car? im worried is it something i should be scard about should i still drive my car or are my brakes going to fail....

No your brakes won't fail it sounds like the abs is on the fritz so be careful your brakes will work but you have no abs. Find someone to vag-com it but I doubt the abs unit will even try to communicate with it. The units are close to 1K but I have seen them for 1/2 that from time to time...

Most likely theres something wrong with the ABS control module. Do a search and you'll find out more. Don't worry your brakes won't fail lol Mine has been blinking for the past four months, (no annoying beeping) just haven't decide to remove it yet. Take it to a stealership or someone with a VAGCOM and run some codes. If it is the control module the part alone is over $600. You can have it refurbished for around $300. If your luck yit might just be a dirty or loose wheel speed sensor. Like I said before do a search and you'll find alot of info on this.

check all the fuses, looking at the car from the front on the left side firewall/bulk head there should be an ABS system fuse, also check your break fluid level

by ne chance did this happen cause i did something wrong? lol cause my parents have been bitchin at me saying i fucked up my brakes cause im driving fast then braking hard(which im not) i just dont wanna get blamed for it espeicaly it the module is gonna cost that much..
