Default help with intake

alright, so heres the scoop. I work for vw and a guy wanted his aem cold air intake off of his 2003 vr6 because it was to loud(*****). So i got to keep the thing. Now heres the problem, i have a 99.5 1.8t, is there anyway someone can lead in me the right direction to cutting this thing to fit my car or what i need to do other than fasten the filter and a small piece of pipe to the maf. In another word how can i make this work on my car. Breather, or any other parts that i need?

If you dont have a BT, I wouldn't bother doing it.

Maybe hang on to it until then, and then try to fit it.
