HELP! Just installed K&N cold air, and car wont start! The car will turn over but wont start! HELP! Ive checked all the sensors and followed the directions pretty damn close. Any help is apprecitated thanks

 

check you ICM connection. the part that top of the airbox

 

I have like 3 times now.

 

I dont think any part around that area cause the problem. you can check maf too but I'm sure you already did many times.

you did not leave the light on while you were installing the cold air or listening music from the radio? weak battery is an option..

 

Either the MAF isn't hooked up correctly or the car is sucking in too much unmetered air (vacuum leak) so it just dies. Same thing happened to me once, the connection to the throttle body was loose and it just sucked air.

 

Which one is the MAF? I know the MAS is on top, but then there is the senors from what it looks like a heat sensor of some sort(mine was orange). I had nothing going in the car, no radio and no lights.

 

this is MAF. did you forget to install it?

 

make sure you installed it in right direction. there is a arrow on it, shows the air flow direction.

 

Yes I installed the MAF the right way, K&N uses the stock sensor. ugghhh this is depressing. I havent even touched and vacuume lines

 

if you dont think you knocked something loose, try swapping the old filter back in and then try to start it. if it still doesnt start than obviously something is loose or not connected
