help me to decide
hi, i'm giving you guys a job. You need to find a car that fit my need, i looking to get great performance about 200whp, need to be reliable, im doing at least 500 miles a week, i need good gas mileage would like between 27-30mpg, i want. the most important thing is handling, dont mind 2/4door, and i want to be realy comfortable. I'm looking at two right now, an b6 a4, i like the quatro but not the power, and im also looking at a 325,330ci, my friend try said that i should look at an is 300. would like your opinion, im willing to look at other model too.

i prefer the look of the b6 but the 1.8t dont have good power stock, the apr stageI+ claim to produce 230hp is this true? i've seen the k04 turbo kit too that seem to be reliable but is there any other option for high reliable hp?

talking about bmws here isn't such a great idea...there's a reason we're all on audiforums, because we had a choice and we picked audi.
if you are specifically looking for power, go for an s4. the b5 s4 is awesome, but the interior is seriously lacking in comparison to newer b6's.
i would suggest getting a b6 a4, then modding it for speed.

thanks toaster, i was going to get an s4 but i cant import it to Canada and the one build for canadian spec are realy expensive, the chipped a4 b6 would be my thing but not sure of reliability, that why im not sure of the a4

I think you pretty much answered your own question. It's very easy to get a 1.8T to 200 whp with the mods you mentioned, and B6's are still fairly new, so as long as you take good care of it, it should be reliabe. Also, I think you will be able to find a nice b6 for cheaper than a 330 ci.
