Ok here is the deal. I have a 98' 2.8 and it has been a great car, but i have an obsession with buying stuff for my car and there are way more things to do to a 1.8T From all you

guys with expirence or have been in my shoes what should I do. I do not however like the fact that i will be with out a A4 during the time I sell and buy my other car I have to drive

a 96' superburban and that is a tank. I am super picky when it comes to buying a car and there seems never to be a black 1.8T in my area Quattro manual. BUT I am willing to

make a little sacrifice to get what I want and seems how we get a lot of snow here, me being a hunter and snowboarder the suburban is not unpractical just not fun to drive.



With this said i will being looking to mod. upgrade turbo, exhaust, and chip... and all the little stuff in between and what I want to know will this shorten the life

of my car? i want it to be a practical daily driver so I was thinking K04 is probably best but shoot me some ideas and what not because a guy is coming to
buy my car on monday so i need to decide before then. thanks

 

I have a 98 18T and I desperately need mine for a daily driver b/c I own a delivery company. I'll tell you that I plan to upgrade to a K04 in the next year but don't want to go anything higher b/c of lack of reliability. If I start hearing good things about the eliminator series, that may be worth a shot. Just do solid trustworthy mods (no gt3071) and you'll be set.
