HELP ME...i'm desperate
when making your own keys just be careful with the lengh of the key. there is nothing protecting the electronics behind the little hooks that hold in the unit. so if you go too far beyond those hooks you might end up damaging your head unit. kinda like i did
. but oh well. just a heads up ... good lucky ... i used sissors once or a envelope opener may work ... just go get the hooks out of the way. good luck.

for those of you that have never removed your radios before, you don't actually remove it the way you would think. there are actually two small slits that are on the face of the radio itself that you have to insert the keys into. check it out...see the small slit on the right, in between the 'mode' and 'rds' buttons? there's one on the other side too.
try zip ties, it worked for me on my freinds b5, stick them in and pull the radio at the tape/cd slot. dont worry there's nothing immediately back there, youve got like 5 -6 inches of nothing
