NO timing marks. I just did water pump. But.. I fucked up and moved a cam. so i know timing is off. it that why its not starting?

Ack should have scratched marks on the cam sprockets before you started. I would call a euro shop and ask them if you can borrow their cam holder tool. It will get the cams aligned again. When you tried to crank the engine did it make any funny noises?

 

No sounded fine to me.

hmmm how hard it it to time it?

Well if the timing is off just a little bit the car will run very poor or not at all. This isn't something to mess with, you run the risk of potentially destroying your valves.

Hey man, if your timing is off, your car just wont start. Its the key to the engine working. I wouldn't try starting it anymore if i was you until you take Jests advice and have it timed... or do it yourslef if you can. But deff wouldn't keep turning the key... won't do anything but damage valves if your timing isn't right.

let me get this strait, you didn't make any marks. on the belt or the cam gears? Man I don't know what to tell you. That is like the most important part of the hole thing. I will see if I can find where I saw one of those tools for rent but no promises.

 

Well no... but the belt and cam shaft are already marked.
