I've a 1996 A4 Avant 110 TDi. Its going great except for a misfire between 17 & 2000 RPM, after that its fine. I've been told it could be the fuel injection pump or injectors. My Audi dealership is quoting £680 + Vat for pump and £120 + vat for each injector, but can't guarantee that's the problem!
Has anyone else had this problem?
Can I fit a replacement fuel pump/injectors from a similar powered golf/skoda/seat. Again Audi garage tells me they are different but I thought they used same engine?
