Exactly...

I like the sound it makes too..nice with the intake system ..I have ABD (similar to yours but with ceramic pipes)

Hey noticed you have the vent boost gauge..man I have one too .. u think you could help me with the install..Ive done a fricken timing belt change and alot of other things with my car but for some reason this one has caused me problems.. ie wiring and running it all through the fire wall etc.

any pics and or install help would be greatly appreciated..

thanks bad luck and 1.8T too for the thoughts.. If I can get that boost gauge install then Ill be in biz for sure

some footnotes.. and questions/concerns on topic off topic sort of...anyway

took out the dv (it was already very tightly screwed in) and released it some..

couple of things ..the tubes down near it had some oil on them..also I shined my light up to the turbo and there was some oil on the pipe going into it as well..is this normal? it wasnt alot of oil but there was a film on the piping to raise my eyebrow

also changed out the spark plugs to bkr6e ngk's ...Im about 100 miles into my Auto Rx treatment for sludge issues and when I took out the plugs..esp on the #1 cylinder closest to the front of the engine had alot of coffee grind like residue on it and in the shaft going into the engine..it looks like resin (for anyone who has or does smoke :-)

cleaned it out put em in and took it for a nice run.. results were no more spiking and surging feeling so I decided to go mid way with the dv and I took it back in and tightened it down a little more..

hopefully no more problems with that..now moving on to the sludge issue.. another whole issue..but hopefully getting resolved

hey Soley4presabout the boost gauge install, just tape into the constant thats running those vent lights, then take the lower cover off (underneth the steering wheel) and there is a litte triangle ruber gromet that runs through the firewall, it should be almost eye level to the ac vents. just run the vac lines through that, tap into your manifold vac lines and your golden.
