Hey i just purchased projector headlights for my 98 A4, but after i installed them they do not shine AT ALL in front of me.

Instead they shine like they are aiming DOWN, i can honestly see the cutoff from the projector beam about 3 ft in front of my front bumper.

Is there a way to adjust them? I know you can adjust them with the bolts that hold them in but i have them pushed in all the way and tight and they still shine straight down? Maybe the projector itself can be adjusted?

Check the bulbs, make sure they are seated properly in the housing. I know I had to adjust mine before because they did the same. I think its the white screws on the top of the housing that you adjust to make it go up and down.

 

Yeah i know on mine you have to adjust the actual project with an phillps head screw driver take it into a garage and turn your lights on and line them up and use the side of the garage wall for reference. The location just look down above the headlight and there should be an opening where the screw is.

dang my projectors shined perfectly straight, and they are SOOOO much brighter than stock. its rediculous

 

with the projectors you got, is the fog lights built in them. Because in my B5 the foglights are built into the headlamp so are the projectors the same way or do u need to buy separate foglights?

 

with the b5 headlights you wont have fogs in the lamp if you have projectors.
