Default help please...intake

I have an a4 2.8QM I am looking into the K&N intake kit and it says its only for the FWD...My question is that isnt the engine the exact same thing and the only difference is in the quattro system? Is there any difference between the two engines just pertaining to intake fitment and pipe diameters? any assistance would be great... and just in case yes i have searched for the past few days and i have seen no one with this intake kit on a post 99 2.8

finally put it in...it works great and sounds amazing...i dont know how much hp it gave me...its just really a seat of the pants thing...i think the throttle response is a little sharper though and it is loud so it was worth it...and it was my first time doing any semi real work on my car so im quite satisfied with it...now to exhaust then ill accept the 2.8 lack of mods and get tint and maybe some wheels and lower it then ill be set...im young and honestly dont need a crazy fast car right now...my 200$ speeding ticket and my license probably getting suspended ( i have my court date in a week) is enough of a lesson for me...anyone know any arguements for 2 mph error on timing strips because in PA 26mph and over for minors is automatic license suspension and i was going exactly 26 over...so if anyone knows any good arguements i would appreciate the help

damn that sux my licensed woulda been suspeded loooong ago lol. all radars are not perfect and you have to allow for some error so just tell the judge you know for a fact that you were going 24 over the limit not 26 and i almost guarantee you'll get off. or just pay a lawyer and they can most likely get it erased, especially if its first time. i've had bout 12 removed from my record. and if they cant they can get the charges dropped/reduced very easily. im assuming this is your first time going to court for this kinda thing but they are extremely leniant when you challenge tickets. Officer might not show up but dont count on it. They throw a portion of the tickets out for some reason which i have yet to figure out but like 1/4 of the guys just walk in and walk back out. Then if you are one of the unlucky ones that have to plead your case they side with you a lot of the time. i dont think you have anything to worry about.

lol i have expertise in this area

im looking to fabricate a heat shield for it but i need something to run off...like a picture of another heat shield to kind of get an idea and i need some time...which i have none of but hopefully soon....

to chaos... the "speed detection equipment type" was a "tracker"...is that radar or time strips or what? and it wasnt on a highway so i dont think cops are allowed to use radar...but he wrote "61.7mph" on it...is that to just make me think its really accurate or is it actually that accurate?...and if i have to plead do i just say i never saw my speedometer reach 60? and yes this is my first speeding ticket...the cop was an *** to me but he was a philly cop so i would assume most to be like that...and it was in my moms brand new 06 a4 and i had just washed it and it was so beautiful and shiny so i guess it stood out and everyone was speeding too...damn the fuzz[:@]
