help..Potential A4 buyer
If you want a great car with great power for a resonable price, then look into a B5 S4. 250hp stock, a chip and dv's away from 300bhp. Just shop around and have patience. There are a couple B5 S4's around me with less than 80k miles for below 15k.
im sry guys but as much as evrybody luvs S4s, i personally say u rly shouldn't get one unless u have quite a bit of free time and money. if u don't believe me just ask auditech79 lol.anyways, are u thinking about reliability also? cuz if u are the 2.8 is a very nice car. all u gotta do is supercharge it and ur set to go. u'll be looking at around 295 hp with a supercharger. most of the torque will still be there too so u'll still have a quick launch. the reason i say the 2.8 is more reliable is it doesn't have as high chance as the 1.8 to have sludge,bad ign coil and breaking timing belts. the only bad thing about the 2.8 is u gotta take like the whole front end apart to wokr on sumthing lol. but that's just my 2 pennie thrown at ya. and im assuming ur getting a b5 cuz they rock compared to the b6,7,8. just aren't as fast but much easier to fix up
yea ive been looking at some S4's to find one with good mileage...they are alot of money....but thanx for the advice.....if you guys wouldnt mind ..please tell me some of your engine mods or setups and tell me how u like them so i can get an idea of what im gonna do.....250-260hp is it possible out of the stock turbo........im just looking for added hp with 4 doors ....lolol thanx again guys

I am running about 250-260 chp I believe (have not dynoed it yet) and I am going to be getting a w/m kit and or a FMIC still and exhaust then I can crank the boost up a bit more and be running 270ish. I think thats what it is. IDK for sure. Someone correct me if I am wrong. I know I can keep up w/stock S4's now.

Look for an s4 if you looking for HP like that if your looking at a B5 s4 its deffinatly in your price range and your alredy starting at 250 HP. Plus a chip and some other mods your up at the 300 range with some left over cash for even more mods. And youll have an S4!!!

you have a k04 w/ p-16 chip though, and without bigger injectors or exhaust your probably running under 250hp.

As for the upgrade turbo it was $625 shipped from GpopShop.com. They take K03's and rebuild them to K04 specs.
