Default Help with purchasing an A4

Hey guys I'm new here and looking for some info on the the B6 A4 1.8T. I'm just wondering what are the disireable options on this car. I'm looking to get a Quattro model.
Any problems/disadvantages with the all wheel drive system?
What about the turbo? Any problems there?
What should I be paying for an '02 or '03 model?
I'm sure I have more questions but I can't think of them right now.

Did some searching but didn't come up with anything usefull.

Any help will be greatly appriciated.

Yes a potential B6 driver
u have to get quattro its wut makes our cars
wit AWD u can grip and handle better
it will help u in harsh weather conditions also

the 1.8t is a solid engine if u maintain it and baby it
it has alot of potential

but if u dont plan to mod and want good stock power for the 3.0

The Turbo is a great car and is very easily modded if your in to that its quite easy to get those running 300HP with a KO4 set up, chip, exhaust, ect. If not its still a great car. As for the price it all depends on how many miles are on the car, the options etc. Also, whether your buying it CPO with an extended warranty or whatnot. In terms of "desireable" options I like the Ultra Sport Package on the B6 A4, unless you plan on adding a body kit your self, and then that would be a waste of money, really need more details to know exactly what you want.

indeed.

as for quattro, it eats gas... 25% power loss through drivetrain... vs. like 12-13 with FWD.

But most of us think it's worth it.

Anyone else? I probebly won't be modding this car it's for my wife.

Overall are you happy with yours?
Is it expensive to maintain?
Should I buy an extended warranty?
How much should I pay?

I'm looking to buy from private party and not the stealership.

Thanks again.
