HELP! Traction and EPC light on. Also gear doesnt change

Ok so hear me out i was driving Tip-tronic while on the freeway. My traction light and my EPC light turned on and my gears wouldnt change. it dropped to 5th gear and my mph went down to 45 and my rpm bearly reached 3000. I wasnt putting force on my engine, i was driving normally. Why did this happen and wut is EPC?

EPC is the drive by wire. Scann it for faults. Ecm, trans, and abs modules at least.
