OK....im just that new..the Tip transmission....is it activated when ya just put the gear selector in the + or - slot?....and if so..my tranny is either messed up or im doing something wrong...what is it....i hope it is jacked...now i can get my timing belt and tranmission fixed for the same co-pay...damn i happy i bought an extended warranty..

 

Yes , when you slide the shifter to the right , thats when its active.
Push it up to upshift , and down to downshift.
Whats is the tranny doing thats not right ??

 

its not doing anything...even the gear indicator selector on the dash isnt moving to gear...or anything...its like its not even connected[:@]

 

Are all the gear lights lit up? Does the transmission even function normally?

 

yes it funtions correct....when i just manually shift it in other then in tip mode..and the lights work correctly also in this manner... its just when i put it into tip mode..dont do anything ....its like it starts in 5th gear..and when i try to select down to 2nd...the light dont move...and nada .....quite frustuating..and my steering wheel has the selector also..the + and - but still nada..like i said tho the transmission works fine in normal auto mode....no rough shifts..or anything of the sort, its basically like the tip dont exist..[&:]
