Default Clutch/Tranny probs HELP!!

Hey guys, I was driving my 98 b5 a4 this morning and it was fine. Clutch was working great and the gears were shifting smoothly. I hit a speed bump a little harder than i thought i would and then it was still fine. I shut the car off at my friends house, and it sat for about 3 hours. When i started it the clutch pedal went to the floor and the car would not go into a gear. ANY GEAR! NOT EVEN REVERSE!!! Is it a hydrolic clutch? or a cable clutch? I had it towed to my driveway, and there was no fluids leaking either.... ideas? thanks!!!

You're saying the shifter won't engage any gear even when the engine is off? AND the clutch pedal goes right to the floor? Or just the latter?
