Hello , my 2.8 v6 12v have a lot of leak of power special in full throtle it become less power then with half pedal , what could it be? also when i accelarate the engine would shake a bit then run like it suck then starts , any body have any ideas why is that?

Check for stored engine codes and give us more information on your car, such as mileage.

Could be a bad spark plug, ignition module, or possibly a plugged gas filter or bad fuel pump,

 

Sounds like spark plugs.

 

I have changed the sparks with oem from audi , and fuel fitler plus air filter then it improved and shows full power but after two weeks it become slower and i the rpm plays between 700 and 775.

sorry the millage is 127k KM for now , approx. 70k mile maybe

 

should be throwing codes at you..... do you have a check engine light on??


for the rough idle give this stuff a try.
it smothed out my idle, so i guess it would be worth a try.

lacking power... ehhh.
could be a bad fuel pump, bad maf signal or timing signal ( aka belt jumped when you downshited )

 

i had this with my 2.8 it would be rough and lack power and kicked on my cell. all it was was my engine was misfireing so i cleared it and it worked fine.

 

Well i have euro version i dont have engine light , but i vagcom my car once a month and i have zero fault code. i will look for the link u gived me and give it a try if i found the material here in my country.

 

How can i know if its my fuel pump and which pressure should it rich in full throtle? , the maf i`ve cleaned it lately so i dont think its maf issue and the timing belt..... is possible but what is the sign of jumped timing belt? how many tooth could it have moved? is rough dowshifting cause timing belt jumps?

 

from what is it was missfiring bad sparkplugs?
