I want to purchase a new set of wide lip rims for my 2001 A4 2.8. I want a wider chrome lip in the rear, but both front and rear to be 18". Please let me know what will fit and some rims to take a look at. I want tires that will ride smoother and take bumps better rather than handle corners.

What are you trying to accomplish by putting wider rims on the rear of an (ASSUMING) AWD car?

 

So you want a set of rear wheels with wide, as in over an inch, lip...not actual wider wheels which would require wider tires, right?. I think I get what your saying. Can't really think of a wheel off the head but, check out this site you can browse wheels by manufacturer and how they look on Audis.
