Default WIDE rear wheels + vmaxx = bad?

soo

dont know if any of you guys know, but since im running 9.5" rears with a offset at +35, it had problems with the vmaxx rear shocks install. they were rubbing. immensely. soo instead of un-installing them... i had to cut (buzz saw) a little portion off the shock sleeves so i can roll free with out them.

which worked.

but now that i got the adjustable control arms, and got the alignment back to spec, everything was fine.

...for a couple days.

the rubbing came back full metal on metal grinding. it's actually not that bad, not as bad as the first time i threw the shocks + wheels on. if i woulda went on the freeway with out cutting that portion out, i could fcked something up.

so i ordered a set of 10mm spacers for the rears in hopes that'll it'll fix it. we shall see

well anyways, anyone with wide rear wheels (9.0") or higher experience rubbing on aftermarket shocks? or just vmaxx's?

the reason you got the rubbing again was because the springs finally settled... you know?

so would you guys suggest just going with adj. coilovers to avoid some of the hassle? not 2 sure coilovers even go in the back of a 225? would be awesome if bilstein would make a sick coilover. we should talk to their R&D and see if they can make 1 if we do a group buy
