Just remember that when your 18, the longer it sits the more money it becomes. I an just startingto get into big time saving for later in life. It pays to listen to what older people say they wish they did when they were my age.
I haven't touched it since I was 9. I don't even know how much is in it. I just put a little into it and ask no questions. I fear the number just may make me withdraw everything.[X(]

They forbid you to go through parts of Phoenix? Wtf is that?

I've had random bums jump on my hood and scream at me while at a "Rally Burger" drive through.. Phoenix is rough as hell, but it aint that bad.

I remember one time, coming home from a Suns game, I am turning right (Not crossing a street) and someone is turning left from accross the street.. its a 2 lane road so I pull into the inside lane, he speeds up and cuts me off?(Instead of staying in the outside lane like he was) Then stops his car in the middle of the road and gets out, I just gunned it around him. Crazy *** black dude in a old beat caddillac... ROFL ROFL. He was prolly gonna put some bullets in me when I didn't do anything wrong. Lucky I had those 175horsies pulling me away from danger

But your parents sound over protective.. its fine if there wealthy but I hate WAYYYY over protective parents. Do they still keep you from rated "R" movies and stuff? Sound like those types of parents, no offense...

*And by that comment I'm just saying I hate parents that won't let there kids swear without going insane, or watch stuff that has things a 10 year old would call bad.... Most parents should accept the fact you have heard it all, seen it all, and for some of you done it all by the time your 15-16?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You can call it saftey but I think learning to cope with rough areas and rough people is a skill everyone should have in life, unless your parents are wealthy enough for you to not work when they pass or some ****.[&:]
Just south Phoenix. It's seriously dangerous down there. I can get myself out of some things due to my Mexican/black heritage but that don't work for some people. You know it's bad when you even got cops that start crying when they hear they have patrol duty in South Phoenix. And I've seen it. Seeing a cop cry is probably the worst thing ever, specially a male one. But he had reason seeing as the guy he was replacing had just gotten shot.

My parents don't keep me from R movies or anything. My mom is known to go overboard on protectiveness though but I think that's because she's hardly home, and you know. Maturnal overload or something. My dad doesn't give a crap where I go, as long as it's not South Phoenix. He's had his share of bad experiences but it seems most people leave you alone as long as you're either Mexican or Black. And it's not bad unless you're going late at night. I've been through there late at night, hookers galore. D: And poor gas station owners. So many people in front of them, just standing there.

So, I can probably go through south Phoenix but we're gonna have to go early in the day or you're gonna have to show me a way around it at night.xD I'll refuse to go through there at night. Specially with all the road work going on, you probably couldn't escape if what happened to you happened again.

And my parents aren't wealthy at all, just work a lot. My dad is retired military and now he's a diesel mechanic, soon about to be a shierff. And my mom is a Nurse that works at some prestigous nursing home in Sun City. Wealthy, we are not. We're just organized and good with money so we can splurge when we want without having to worry about busting the bank.

A4philly: I'm sure tax, title, and license is included in the price seeing as I'm buying it from a dealer. I'll be paying for that. And sure, I won't be paying for insurance but that's how my family is organized. They split the bills and pay for those same one's every month. My dad happened to get insurance. And he hates having other's pay it because then things get messy and you start wondering where money went.

Every car that I have purchased from a dealer (over 7 cars and 1 motorcycle) have never included tax, title, license, and doc fee up front. that is always added at the end of the price negotiation. unless the sales manager specifically says that this price is included tax, title, license, and doc fee you might as well plan on paying that extra. Just giving you a heads up so you don't get suprised at the dealership. let us know how it turns out and trust me you will be happy with the car. I surely have.

If its a used car I usually estimate to pay about 10% over trade in value for the car...considering trade in value is about how much they paid for it.

Well, trade in, it's worth 20k. If I can probably get it like that, it'll be all good. Specially seeing as he has an 05 at the same price with less miles, he will definitely most likely go down on price. Even if the 05 is a FWD.
