If your boost gauge does this

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...46493294099405

then you probablyhave a boost leak

well from what i have heard over and over is that the boost should hold at 14-15 and spike around 15-16.

If im wrong and i dont have a boost leak, please tell me.

and mine spikes at 15 and falls to 10-12 really fast and my 0-60 is around 10 sec. with a chip

You don't have a leak. it's just the k03 running out of breath at high rpms, they all do that.

mine spikes to 19 then holds at 16-17 psi, only drops down slowly at high rpms, that def looks like a boost leak to me.

Mine definately does not do that. I hold 18-20psi with the pedal to the floor throughout the rpms. Your 0-60 should be around 8 seconds, or 7ish if you are trying to kill your tranny.

Ok. According to the local audi specialist. I DO NOT have a leak.

He said that you are suposed to loose boost like i do, and if you don't you could blow.

Anyopinions on this?

So my question is, what is making your cars hold your boost?

your N75 valve.

the wastegate is set to open at a very low amount of boost, maybe 5 psi. the N75 basically fools the wastegate actuator into thinking that there's less boost than there really is, so you can run more pressure than the wastegate allows.

or should i get the N75J.

what is the difference between the two?

is it easy to install by yourself without a lift?
