Smoked Helix projector headlights with W5W's and SilverStar H7's.
Smoked Helix side markers.
Custom made lower grills,aluminum meshing, all 3 grills.
KnN with custom chrome pipe and custom, tin,1st part pipe (lower grill to cone).
Window tints, 32% front,22% rear.
Chrome exhaust tips.
Anodized piping/hoses.
Painted and Audi decaled calipers and pads.
Painted springs.
Stock 16" rims re-sprayed to a metalic grey.
Upgraded vacume hoses.
Pedals.
Sony GT300 head unit.
Sony 600W Sub.
Dual 460W 1-2channel amp.
Pinoneer 360W 6x9s.
Sony 10 disc cd changer (arrives tuesday).
Installed xenonfog lights behind the grills.
cant think of anything else right now....

Next thing on the agenda is to smoke my tail lights and my fog lights and get her re-sprayed, MAACO wants $2,200, haha yea right.

Re-mounted the horns, now placed next to the KnN.
All new control arms, tie-rod ends ect.
New starter motor.
Header tank off a '99.
New multi rib belt recently.
Just had the gearbox fluid and filterchanged.
Thermostat switch replaced.
Driveshaft replaced with a new one. 2 split c/v boots =( .
and other things.

Welcome. Im affraid someone may have lied to you about your car though. You see, in matters of your horse power, it is less than what you think... 96/97 12v 2.8's have always been rated at170hp.. Smoked side markers might get you 10 extra hp, but not 22

 

be nice onepoint8tee, hes actualy had his 12v longer than most people do before switching ovr to the 30v or 1.8t. plus i think he made it more for show than go, welcome. and btw our 12v is rated at 172hp. dont forget it, maybe 140 at the wheels with drivetrain lposs and age.

 

Damn a 30v 1.8?!?!?! I want me one of those. the best of both worlds.

on a serious note......
i found the hp on some website.
so 172hp it is, KnN says they can add upto 20hp, so since i still have a stock exhaust i'll add 5hp plus another 5hp for the chrome intake and my direct cold intake scoop. 182hpsound good?

 

k thanks. yea i have done way more styling then tuning to her, my only major engine mod is the k&n and pipes. my next performance mod would be the exhaust but my money has to go towards the re-spray first.
this is my first car, all paid for, so i dont even know if i could make myself trade her in. i would like the '97 1.8t tho, first thing i would do is wack a louder BOV in it.
