i have a 99 a4 with the reflector headlights and i want to get HIDs however, i dont want to get new headlights. i hear all the cons of HIDs in the reflector housing. i wanna see how bad it really is, does anyone have any pictures? thanks

 

Don't do it. Just wait a little bit until you can shell out the extra dough for a set of the projectors. Everyone else on the road will thank you, and you will thank me because it will look 10x better.

 

you know what it looks like when you see a civic with HIDs? looks like sh*t right? yeah, that's what your car will look like. like miked said, wait a bit and save up until you can get some projector housings -- do it right.

 

Not to mention you're going to blind everyone.

 

please dont. the reason you need the projectors is because it creates a cutoff so that you dont blind other drivers. your reflectors will shine the light everywhere, blinding everyone and your lights wont be as bright
