I just installed the 6000k vvme kit on my car a few minutes ago. Was simple to install, literally plug and play (except for the ballast mount but I just stuck em under the head lights with industrial adhesive/velcro. I havent driven with them on yet, but they look great. Just like a high end audi that comes with HID stock.

I did some research on this subject awhile ago. The best option that I found was called 'serious vision' 6000K (white with a slight tint of blue)HID kit sold by LLtek for $488. It would be sweet to get the fogs too.

how is a $448 kit the best option when there are tons of members satisfied with their < $100 kits? Your research skills are flawed

Yeah, especially since the industries most well respected kit by Phillips (OEM distributor) is only $395 online, and less on eBay.

i've had the vvme, kit for a while now... no problems... nice and bright

and as far as the quality bs that someone was putting out there the vvme kit is engineered in germany (manufactured in china), and is simply a relabeled oem setup, the same components are used by mb, bmw, and audi, just dosent have the "manufacturer stickers on it"

kthx bye

No need to spend 400+ on a kit. Visionbulbs and vvme have high quality kits.

You got to be kidding me.... A $100 kit is the same quality as the $488 kit? There is no difference in the way it fits, quality or reliability? I was under the impression the serious vision kit is made specifically for audi cars.

Ok, I broke down and got the k6000 kit from vvme. When it comes, Iwill post a review and pics of the k6000 next to my calibrated k5600 Joker Bugs (this is HMI lighting used for cinema production. It is even more pure white than electronic flash). Has anyone asked this company for a spectral power distribution graph or CRI rating (color rendering index)???

ok thanks for the input.

for the actual HID conversion, are the high beams halogen when they are turned on? what have people done with the high beams?
and also the fogs, any advice or recommendations for new fogs?
