HID headlights AND HID (amber) in fogs - anyone done it?????
I think the full HID treatment will look really good and it ought to light up the road like nothing. Once I get them and install them, I'll put up some pics.
Agreed, but fog isn't all that common around here and most of our roads are pretty well lit most of the time. My main concern is the best lighting I can get for off to the sides of the road (where the fog beam is shaped to shine) - we don't have much fog but we have a hell of a lot of deer and they can absolutely mangle a car, even at low speed.
I think Ima do the hid in both heads and fogs to just get one big bright situation,I dont get much fog where I live but do get rainy seasons, any one got some choices on temps of the lights(doin all the same) to deal with rain??? I like the super white look since the blueish i heard are illegal down here...
Most pure white color available is 4300k temp. Anything between that and 6000k will work great, look great, and not be too blue in appearance.
I have 8000k orange side looks good, i had 8000k on fogs too and it looks awesome!
but my fogs stoped working tried to check, checked fuses but i was fine still dont know
what wrong but, i like my same color, looks good and really bright. look at my avatar for the HID pic.

See ... there we go! That's what I'm talking about ... Lazer Viking - that's the set up I am looking for.
I'm like UpstateNYA4, I'm down here in the south (GA) and we don't havea fog issue. Down here in the country we got a lot of deer, possums, armadillos and drunk rednecks ... so I need a lot of light.
