Default HID replacement sizes

I have had a lot of help from a few different guys on this board regarding purchasing HID kit from Visionbulbs.

My question is this: Has anyone ordered a kit for a 2002 AUDI A4 quattro??

I need to know what size to order. I was told H7, but I was also told D2S bulbs. Anyone help?

Jeff

If you have HIDs already, then you only need to purchase replacement bulbs, not a kit.

D2S is a type of HID bulb used in factory HID projector housings
D2R is a type of HID bulb used in factory HID reflector housings
H7 is a type of Halogen bulb used in factory non-HID projector & reflector housings.

H7 is the type of bulb in my B5 Projector Headlamps. When i purchased my Kit from VisionBulbs, I ordered the H7 kit. When I go to replace my bulbs (when they happen to burn out), i will be re-ordering H7 bulbs.

Typically, if you had factory HIDs already they would be your lowbeams and D2S bulb type. If you have HID lowbeams and want to go HID highbeams or HID fogs, then you'd need to buy a kit (H7 kit). If you don't have factory HID for lowbeams, you want to buy the H7 HID kit. (i'm assuming theB6's are H7 as well)

I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume you don't have HIDs. Order the H7 6000K kit from VisionBulbs. If you want a different colour, choose a different Kelvin range. (4300K ~ 12000K)

Good luck.

Heh, i havne't installed mine yet - been workin out the deatils with VisionBulbs regarding swapping out bulbs. 10000K for 6000K. But once I get the bulbs I'll be doin the install. From what I've ready, it's pretty bloody simple. Plug and Pray.
