New hids on my A4 now I need some black out tail lights if anyone knows where to get them cheap let me know.

don't black your headlights out. it only looks good on darker cars. black, dolphin grey, santorin, etc..

but if you must. DIY. pull them apart and paint the insides while removing the amber corner peice.. there are writeups for this procedure somewhere

i want to black out my tail lights as well..i have yet to tint out my windows so i was hoping i can get the tail lights + headlights smoked out at the same place i tint my car out at

 

hey sean he wanted to black out his tail lights, not his head lights

blacking out the tail lights is not tought... if you have a 99-up black out only the red part and leave the clear strip, it looks like pure sex. droooool

andas far as tinting the headlights... hmmm... maybe it could be cool, just a very very very light tint, but the 99.5-01 head lights are something special in themselves that really shouldnt be touched

 

YA why would you get HIDS and then black out the head lgihts, seems counter productive, anyway ya if you can get both done windows and rears post up some pics, i wanna see what a silver car looks like with balck out tails

 

Where and what kind of HID did you get?

 

i figure if i tint out the headlights it'll add a nice contrast cuz my car is silver...anyways im definitely doin wat AteUrV8 said and leavin the clear strip untinted

 

True it would mess up the beauty of the headlights I do want to black out my tail lights and leave the clear part like AteUrV8 said.. But bigdig712 i dont no wat kind I even got it came with the car but I got it down in chicago cause when i got the car he told me he got the tvs down there to at armando sounds he paid 400 fo the hids and then he got 3 tvs in it he paid 2900 fo everything the tv in the front got navigation so now i dont get lost
