haha, yea, good luck with that buddy. pretty much any turbo'd B series or any gutted K20 civic will still pull on you

 

theres some guy with a hatch B16-A with a t3/t4 setup @12psi. fmic and GUTTED! he barely pulled on my dads GMC sierra duramax lol. with only a banks sixgun chip. hmmmmm......did i mention its a four door and 4wd w/ stock gearing and 170k miles. B series and the H22 setups are not all that they are hyped up to be. sure you can push em close to 10k rpm. but as i said before....just a vtech racket in my opinion. most only get turbos to get thier BOV (again a reference to thier fetish with sound). with the money he put into his rice field i could of probably got a decent B5 starter project..........

 

just because you beat one boosted B dosnt mean crap. most of the time there driven by 16/17 year old kids who think you run it to redline then shift. the honda B, H, and K series are amazing motors. But.... to pull the capabilities out of them they require capable hands. so you may beat one 300hp civic but wait till you roll up on one who knows what he's doing. I have a friend with a 04 rsx type S (intake, headers, exhaust, and k-pro) and he can pace sti's(from a roll wheel spin is a bitch). his car is a freak but thats cause he spent the time and did it right.

 

LOL, do you realize how many different "T3/T4" turbos there are? Also, how do you know if this setup actually had quality parts? Do you know if the "B16A turbo with FMIC was tuned or was he running a shitty FMU setup? Don't be so ignorant to something just because it's not an Audi and you don't know anything about it.

and what does 4wd have anything to do with it? it's not likeit was in 4wd while racing it on the pavement. cause it was, you're an idiot

 

4wd equals more weight first off captain.... drivetrain + differential + axles X2. so i put that one together for you. and this was no 16/17 year old kid. hes 26 or 27 and owns a company called landis speed shop. and is knows for having the best civics around. and i AM aware of how many different t3/t4 setups there are. marvin (the guy with the hatch) said he currently is running a garrett t3/t4....your right that probably is a shitty setup. and it probably wasnt tuned. he doesnt own a tuning shop or anything. BTW the intercooler was a greddy. also very low quality huh?! i should of checked. you WERE right. qulaity parts in this case would of made a huge differenc. if you civic people would stop whining and get over the fact i mayonly be 18....but i kinda know what im talking about. in THIS CASE. no i dont know everything. but neither does anyone else. im not ignorant at all. i just have higher standards then driving a ricer with a fart can. and that equals 80% of them. to the other 20% i do apologize. you spent way too much money

 

and actually it was in four wheel drive on pavement. 4 high. same gearing but all wheel drive for launches. no spin. you know brake stand to get the spool up. when your making that kind of power 2wd would of been spinning long before it even left the line. hence the 4wd launch. dont be so ignorant about something you dont know anything about......at least thats what i heard

 

there going to spend way less then what your going to spend for a good setup...

anyway, sounds like a crappy tuned car, cuz you agree with us that any b16a with a turbo setup would stomp your @ss *** well as most of us here in the forum (if not all of us)

 

he may be known for having the best civic around, but that dosen't mean he can drive. + something could have been wrong with his car. everyones been there were somethin is F^ but were still drivin neways

 

but i am stoked with my setup right now. and i spent under 1k. my car is mostly stock. but as ive heard. audis arent QM cars off the assembly line. and thats not what i bought it for. so im happy. too loud for me
