and actually it was in four wheel drive on pavement. 4 high. same gearing but all wheel drive for launches. no spin. you know brake stand to get the spool up. when your making that kind of power 2wd would of been spinning long before it even left the line. hence the 4wd launch. dont be so ignorant about something you dont know anything about......at least thats what i heard
with part time 4WD engaged, your front wheels are forced by good traction on the ground to rotate faster than the rear wheels. but since the front driveshaft delivers only the same rpm as the rear there is a fight between front wheels and rotaional force coming from the front driveshaft. the front drive shaft in effect tries to slow the front wheels. there is a reason why there are PART TIME 2WD. trust me i know, i drive a 4WD truck everyday at work and have to switch from 4wd to 2wd about 3 times a day.

and don't know what im talking about? that's what you heard?haha, i guarantee you that i know 100x's more about these cars or any other car than you do. so just try me..

and again, ignorant about something i don't know. i have what you call real world experience buddy. you should try it sometime. i have a full Garrett GT28RS on my car with all supporting mods. and unless im on racegas @ 25psi, my buddy in his gutted 94 hatch w/K20 swap pulls on me when we go from a roll. he puts down 208whp all motor btw. but then again, i watched him get pulled on by a turbo'd integra GSR B18 on 8 lbs. not sure what turbo he had exactly

sean1.8t, some people just won't ever get it. They just go by what they read or heard from a friend. I personally love my Audi for the great ride and handling and all the interior comforts, and I also love my turboed civic because I can rip unsuspecting people up without breaking the bank. Sure my civic started out as a econo-shitbox and probably 95% of the people on this forum will say it still is- but I have done every modification to the car myself except for the tune. I wish Mr. auditurbo381 the best in spanking fart can civics all day so he can boost his self-esteem.

I prefer N/A honda power. My red civic coupe back in the day was pretty fast with a 1.8 DOHC motor pushing 200hp from the factory. I had a custom Apex'i intake, SPOON 4-2-1 header, and a Mugen exhaust on it. We just did fuel tuning and moved the vtec point and I was smoking cars left and right. Of course there is no replacement for displacement but this thing was pure fun and RELIABLE and it was my daily grocery getter at 2500lbs. The only bone stock car it had trouble beating was LS1 powered F-body cars. Everybody kept asking if it was turbo'ed, sc'ed, or a 6 under the hood...i just replied 1.8 4 cylinder, bro! 8400rpm, close gear ratio, andpower to weight ratioFTW! ohh...and RELIABILITY WITH 30+ MPG....sure it's not luxury, but it has its advantages.

For all the Honda haters here bring any A4 to any autocross, road course, or drag strip and watch this piece of jap crap
run circles around you! I agree that Audi's have more class than Honda's do but you should never talk bad about the quality
of Honda Motor Corp.

Bondga, a b16b is a 1.6 not a 1.8. They were only available in the Civic type R's in Japan ( until people started importing them to the states).
