I was wondering if anyone knew the weight of the B6 A4 sedan's hood and Trunk weight because I am thinking about lightening the car.And I was
thinking about getting a carbon fiber hood and trunk to lighten it up. I'd paint over both of them btw

 

I think Mike Hood claimed his cfhood and trunk lids saved him a little under 100 pounds....good for a tenth of a second lessin a quater mile.

 

that was on a b5 though

b5's hood is 46 lbs
i dont know what the trunk is

no clue about the b6's

Damn I had no idea they were that heavy, wasnt going too, but now I may just do CF as well...
