got to local autoparts store they have an array of 2 ply radiator hoses. i got one with a 90 degree bend in it with about the same diameter of the "L" hose. duck tape will not hold the boost for very long but can be a very temp solution. or you could go to thee audi dealership and ask for part # 06B-133-783-BC this is the "L" hose.

 

boost issues are solved!!!!!!!

went to audi stealer on my lunch break picked up L hose for $15 two clamps $1 each (riiiip). changed L hose in the parking lot with flat head only. Of course the guys in the parts department were like "do you want us to have someone come out and change it for you?" I asked how much... he was like "let me look it up" @ $95/hour I was like "I think I want to handle this one on my own but thanks"!

couple burns on my hands/arms no biggie. started it up. smoother idle. no more wooshing under high boost. peaking at 18-19 psi. noticeable difference in accel, throttle response and braking.

I have to say, although thats probly the easiest DIY. it still made me feel good that I was able to do it in like 20 minutes (I hate those one-time clamps).
