Hi 01BlackA4, welcome to the forum. It's probably a problem in the blinker relay (located inside the hazard button).

Hi

I know that my hazard relay needs replacing. 1995 Audi A4. i have a replacement in hand.

From examination it seems that the whole center consul -from rear seat ashtray, gear stick shroud, and consul all has to come out as one piece ?

- found large bolt under reas ashtray
- found capped hex on either side of consul by seats
- found hex inside glove box

Anyone have experiene of this ?

Cheers

Do you have heated seats or do you have the little slip down storage?

Default RE: Where is turn signal relay switch located?

I have the same problem as a lot of people with the turn signal not working but the hazards working on my 2001 A4. If the turn signal relay is in the hazard button, do you know if this can be accessed by pulling the sterio deck out and getting to the faulty piece?

Also, is Audi dealer the only place that carries these parts?

Thanks,
mg

i Had the same problem and i had to switch the hazard button which as all you should know now acts as a relay.. the easy way to replace it is taking out the dummy button right next to the hazard switch and sticking your finger in there and pushing the switch out.. a lil prying with a small really flat screw driver might be necessary. if thats not the case you might have to pull the radio out..

Hi

i repaired my hazard switch - very easy.

The relay IS located in the dashboard switch.

The switch came out very easily using a flat screw driver at the top and bottom of the switch

Simply pull the switch away from the old loom. Attached the new switch thoe loom.

Push it all back in

Flash away ..................
