Why did you buy your current audi? Im looking to buy one soon and cannot decide between a4, a6, and s4 who else struggled with the decision?

 

I did the same. I went with the a4 because I wanted something nice and sporty in my price range. But afterwords I got the s4 an am in love with it. If you want power and alot of comfort get the a6

 

I have read some good things agout the s4 and a4 if I were to get the 1.8 a4 and make it a stage 3 how would the gas mileage be and would it be reliable?

 

Gas mileage I don't know about but yes it would be a reliable car.

 

I'm coming from the world of Muscle cars but got kind of tired of it all. Looked at an A4, 3 series BMW and a Lexus IS350...

All very nice cars. The BMW is such a driver's car, the Lexus is nice but it didn't sit right with me. Went with the A4 because of value-for-money with AWD and relatively newish car with 6 year extended warranty. I believe the A4 has great handling and a good driver's car (almost as good as BMW). The low-end power/torque is pretty good and doesn't feel like it only has 200-some HP.
