Assuming your talking about the cooling system you need a pump and an adapter to screw onto your overflow bottle. You pump it up to about 1 bar and see if it holds. If it holds all is good. If it drops you have a leak.

 

^^ that or pressure test for boost leaks, i used this and its done the job for 2 years now click

 

im talking about my 12v, cause based on my the codes i got its telling me i got leak some where on the intake side and i wanted to find out where, hopefully a gasket or something stupid like that

 

Well youdont really presssure test a 12v because there is no turbo. What your looking for is a vacuum leak test. Best way to do that is to spray brake clean around the intake. The idle will either drop suddenly or rise suddenly if brake clean is sprayed into a leaky area.

 

i heard that too but with starter fluid, what do u think i'm def gonna give it a shot
