Ok im going to get my a4 tested tomorrow, they said they do
a smoke test but i dunno as long as it finds the boost leak
which wasnt fixed after i replaced the dv, so just to ask quickly
does 80 $ sound about right for them to check for a leak and repair
the hose if its broken?

 

well i would look it over first becuase all they will do is pressurize the system and listen for a leak and fix it. what you can do is just look over all teh vac lines, you never know you mihgt get lucky and save 80 bucks

 

yeah at least give it a good check up before throwin 80 at it

 

ya i had a riped hose. it was fixed for free but all you have to do is get someone to rev theengine a little and look around
