how do painted lowers hold up??
The best local paint shop in my area (COLOR PROS) owner told me that they use a special sealer for things like that. He said that the sealer is so strong, you can coat a bouncey ball in it, paint the ball, and throw it around a room without the paint breaking. He said they can do normal spray as well, and it'd probably hold up just fine. But to do it right, it takes some money. (Quoted me $900 all the way around for the SEALER and SPRAY... Quoted me something like $50 a side for just normal spray.)
id rather do the 50 side and just re do it in 3 years, you will still be ahead 500 and im sure it will still look jsut as good. what are you waiting for your car would look sweet with the lowers painted
I'm not modifying my A4... I've decided I want an Ultra-Sport in a few years, so I may as well leave the one I have stock, and just save my money.
But believe me, once I get my Black/Black '04 Audi A4 1.8 Quattro Ultra-Sport MT5... It's on.
