Default How do you change gears w/ tiptronic

I have a B6 3.0--Which is the safest for the engine, I don't want to kill my engine by doing this...

tiptronic is an automatic but a little more advanced and as it has only the accelerator pedal and break peddle you would treat it the same as and automatic so the first question is the right one

+1 Remember the trans shifts about 1/2 second after you tell it to so time it so you don't hit the rev limiter.

You should be okay with just "shifting" - and use the Tip - its much more fun/involved (from a previous manual junkie now in withdrawl...)
