This has really really grown on me lately. However, in my area at least, it seems like 99% of the silver w/ black cars are ricers (true all show- no go ricers). And as much as I like the look I don't want to be some how associated with that (even though it may be true).
I would like to do engine upgrades before wheels but 3 of my 4 wheels are badly bent (S4 stock celebration type) and I'm thinking this is killing my mileage let alone the ride quality.
I've got a silver 2001 b5 A4 1.8t sport quattro (wow we love the long titles) and plan on getting wheels and tires by the end of Feb (my bday). I'm looking for any recommendations on wheels, be it silver or black.
Right now I'm thinking OZ Record or OZ Superturismo...

Just do whatever you want and ignore ricer stereotypes. Black wheels on a silver audi would look nice depending on the wheels. Just stay away from dragon decals on the hood, BOV's unless your engine is highly modified, neons, DIY chrome trim, altezza's etc. The ricer status is easily identifyable-is that a word? Just pay attention to the dodge neons and chevy cavaliers and dont do what they do to make their cars flashy.

check out ritts car. second audi from left. looks nice. i dont think these are his normal wheels though, had to sell them or something?

Cheap black wheels look like sh*t, like HP EVO's no offense to any owners of them. Other wise black wheels with a polished lip are aliright, not my favorite or would i ever buy something like that, the most "extreme" i would get for color of wheels would be like a gunmetal color.
