How do you remove the rear seat?

How do you remove the rear seat?

... in a 1998 A4 1.8T with leatherette seats? One of my kids dropped a piece of Lego down underneath it and the rattle is driving me nuts. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

well, i have an 01, but i thiknk its the same. You just grab under the seat, and pull it up. 2 clips will pop out and ur good to go.

ya i got a 98. its the same as as the 01's and pretty much any car i've had. you just grab underneath and unhook it. then it just comes right out

Wait wait, i got a 98 too.

Does it matter where you pull up on....and where do the clips pop out?

just push in the middle of each seat in the pack. you should feel the clips pop out. if you cant find them run your hand underneath the seat. then it just lifts right out

Push them in? ( as in towards the trunk?)

Or pull them up
