i think (correct me if im wrong) the 2.8's are geared wider than the 1.8's

 

130 on I-90 yesterday. I was toying around with a junky modded skyline. i think the badges said gt-s. i smoked him from 80-115 and 70-100, surprisingly. This car pulls a lot harder at those speeds than at lower speeds. Feels like it at least, cuz the boost is right there like jeff said.
