I hit 120 in my A4 about 4 days after I bought it, but haven't gone much past 100 since then, it's pretty scary, the car feels very light at 120. I bet if I had mine lowered the springs would help keep the car "down", it floats too much, or so it seems.

Would be more than happy to prove it. Airfare is not that expensive right now, get a plane ticket to germany and I will pick you up in Frankfurt and prove it before we leave city limits. Top speed in my first Audi, the 4000S, was about 115. The A4 I got to 135 (started downhill just as I hit the fuel cut off point), and the TT to 130.
Once set the cruise to 125 coming back from Potsdam NY to Utica NY. Held it there for about 20 minutes, but it kept kicking the ABS light on, and it wouldn't turn off until I shut the car off.

my old 1990 audi 90 i got it to 118mph but then my friend who was in the passenger seat freaked out so i slowed down, i could have gone faster too, great car

I made it to 120 following a Mustang on I40 with the GF asleep in the passenger seat. Held it for a few min. and she woke up and gave me the biggest eat **** look ever and looked at the speedometer and I slowed down .
