How to make a stock A4 faster
they'll only be able to tell if they are specifically looking. under normal dealer conditions and flashing, it won't. its not hard for them to find out, but if you give them no reason, theyll never know.
Most likely if he bought an 05 a4 $500 for a chip isnt abig deal. A chip is your best bet, anything else and they will question it when you bring it in to the dealer.
I was thinking of trying to bring mine in for some warranty work [8D]

With a year to go in the lease it's hard to justify spending any money on it really. Unless of course you intend on buying it at the end then do what ever you like.
I'm assuming you wont get a B6 again when you end your lease so pretty much any part, even if its bolt on wont fit on your next car, so at that point your left with selling them off.

Cool thanks for all the advice. I think a chip would be the best choice for me, but I'm just going to leave the car alone for now and see what happens in a year when my lease is up. I could definately see the dealer saying "Go ahead and chip it" now, then a year from now screwing me over claiming it voided my warranty.
