i have a 96 2.8 quattro and i want to make it faster but idk what to do to it, any suggestions?

 

well there is no way to make this easy but us 2.8 owners dont have as many options as the 1.8t guys do and it aint cheap either, if you have the money the best way to go is the pes tuning supercharger kit but its spendy for a 100 hp gain, people have done custom turbo kits but there isnt really a cheap way to do it. we dont see the gains from a chip as the 1.8t gets for the money, so basically if you dont have a budget then go for the supercharger it comes with everything you really need for it but the price is steep at almost 4 grand. i have a custom cold air, and exhaust system but the gains werent anything to brag about.

 

Sell the car and buy somthing faster end of story

 

Sell it and buy a 1.8t or supercharger... only 2 options...

 

Take off the mirrors, front hood, and front bumper for less wind resistance.

 

always keep it pointed downhill and pray for a stiff tailwind

 

Drive it in reverse.
