If by "mech inclined" you mean "can follow directions, and turn a wrench, and have a spare 8 hours," then I think most of us can handle it. You just need to take care and have patience... and beer.

man thats real expensive to do at the mechanics, but i dont think i am qualafied to do it myself. I no about cars, but have never really done anything myself, im way to scared i think ill mess something up. Does it really take nothing more then being carefull and reading the derections to do this?

 

well it also depends on where you are getting the directions from....i found a really really nice tutorial on audiworld's tech articles but it is for a 1.8 and mine is a 2.8....so im weary about any differences i don't know about yet

I paid $1100 at the Audi dealer. Down here there are no capable mechanics to work on Audis it suks.
