that makes me feel good. even if it is an auto. I'm planning on a k04 someday, jsut need to have the funds. I'd like to get a gtrs but i 'm pretty sure the tip will slip after that. unless i get a level 10 trans.

There are some situations when tip is alright. Such as when you are newly weded, needing a new car, and she cant/wont drive stick but will be driving the new car 30-40% of the time..............[:@]
But, big power mods do not belong with auto trannys imo. Driving stick puts you in more control, and the driving experience so much more spirited. Anyway, at least the B6 tip tranny isnt as much of aslosh box as the B5's. Id say invest in a tip chip and forget level10 if youre going to do anything. I have read a few threads on AZ complaining about the driveability of their cars after level10 tq converter/valve body upgrades. Sure itll handle 800 ft lbs/hp but its also going to shift like a school bus.

AWE/GIAC doesnt list a tip chip available for you on their site, but I know theyve done it on a few b6's that ive heard of.

I've looked around for a tip chip for my car but came up short. If you find one let me know but from what i understand the giac chip for the b6 encompasses all engine management and trans. i could be wrong though.

I was actually going to get a tip chip from GIAC, but I got a 5 speed instead. I think either ecstuning.com or awetuning.com have it.

ECS is an APR dealer. AWE is a GIAC dealer. Call or emailAWE/GIAC about a tip chip for a B6. I know its been done.
