in the process of doing seafoam treatment on the car,added to the gas and crankcase two days ago,went to add it into the intake system, throughthe vacumn hose today (the one located at the rear that leads into suction pump,2.8 v6) i was following the guide from audiworld,however i have no suction from this nipple at all,any suggestion?
also what is the unit on top of the intake box,it has two hoses leading in/out of it and an electronic plug.it has started ticking like mad today,never heard it before?
any help please

 

found out the ticking is my evap purge valve,never heard it tick that loud before,may be to do with the seafoam removing moisture?
still lost on the suction proplem

That clicking in the evap valve is normal.. It means its working. If there is no suction from the suction pump, it might be bad.

 

I'm not able to get any suction out of that nipple...but if it's bad, it seems like it would have some other symptom. I don't have a single code. I even tried pouring it in with a funnel and it wouldn't go. It's too bad, I've been looking forward to some seafoam action.
