Default How much paint to I need?

I've been wanting to get my lowers painted for awhile now - well I've seen some of you do it yoursleves and they end up looking good. so the question is how much paint will I need to order from paintscratch.com to paint my lowers?

my car is pearlesent white, this requires a tricoat of paint - does anyone think I should just have it done by a pro?

tri coats need to be completed by not only a painter, but a damn good one if you want it to color match. Its going to be pretty tough for even the best to get it to match 100%, but at least a good guy could get in the 90s. I take it you just want to paint your side skirts? or are you talking about the lips as well? I would say you could cover all of that with a half gallon and have some left over even with heavy coats. Like I said though, they are very tough to color match. Im sure he would try to blend as well.

I'm talking about doing everything - front and rear valance included. I have a local body shop that is very good. They painted my spoiler and it is a perfect color match. Maybe I should just get a quote -
just a half gallon of tricoat from paintscratch is $700 - thats not primer or clearcoat
