ok, so i just got my tein basic coilovers and they look great. For those who have them or know of them, how much thread should be showing roughly to achieve a height between hr sport springs and hr race springs? I know it is a really unspecific question, but I dont want to have to turn them a million times once they are on the car. Thanks fellas, 2000 audi a4 Q.

 

wow i have no idea. i remember on my h&r coilovers i started out with an inch showing and that was way to low. i think i ended up witht about 2.5 showing. not much help but its a start. remember its easier to lower the car than raise it up. i would start with way more then you thing and then lower if necessary

i paid 750 from modacar.com, cheapest place i found.They also overnited them for me for no additional cost because the price on the sitenot correct, it was 50 more. No big deal.

 

i'm going to check ebay, but i really need me some coilovers, i hate that my car looks like a tank. all i need to do is spray paint it camo and it's a legit m1a1 abrahms.

 

make sure they are not fakes on ebay. they were having a problem with people making lookalikes. I would just get them off modacar.com, jeez they are already cheap as hell.
