Default How often is a radiator flush to be done?

I was at oil max getting my oil changed (M1 0w-40 and i brought the OEM filter) just b/c i didnt have the time to do it myself b/c of work and school. And they pitch stuff, and teh guy tried a radiator flush. Now i know that he will try and sell me anything to giv ehim more money. But i havnt done it since i got the car about 13,000 mi ago. And i ahve had to top off the coolant a lil, so how often should it be done. Ill be either doing it (if i can find time) or bringing it to my mechanic, not oil max.

i have a 98 and audi says that its sealed for the whole life of the car, not necessary to change the coolant at all

if there's a leak, fix it and top off..

Yup its lifetime fluid, but make sure no one has put the green stuff in like they did on mine. Also, i've heard some opine that even the red/purple stuff should be changed every 100k.

Most mechanics recommend changing the coolant every 2 years. ONLY use Pentosin G12 mixed 50/50 with distilled (if you can get distilled deionized) water. Coolant can become corrosive as the alkalinity decreases.
