Saw this while driving home from work a couple of days ago:

When I got a closer look at the car, I noticed the quattro badge on the front & back of the car. I always thought that quattro is engaged all the time, but distributes power to the wheels as needed. How is it possible that the back wheels are spinning when the front wheels are tied down? Does quattro have some sort of syncro that makes the above possible?

Im just writing a quick response here guys. I have an E-Maxx All wheel driveRemote Controled Car (if anyone knows it) and when its put up by its frame the front wheels turn independently from the back. And when the right front tire is spun the left front goes in the opposite direction and visa versa. I think the quattro has no problem being on a truck like that. Lol just a little input from what little experience i have with all wheel drive.
Yeah now that you think about it if i dare say this it might be okay actually! I aloo have a question if the quattro requires all wheels to spin and "when slipping on ice the computer takes the power away from that wheel and distributes it to the other wheels" as said by the audi dealership!!! SO shouldnt this make it okay????
